How Search Engine Marketing has helped our clients achieve great results 

With 2018 now in full swing, we’d like to take a moment to look back on the results that clients on our Top SEM (search engine marketing) package achieved in 2017.

Although each client operates in a different market, they are similar with regards to the search engine marketing services they receive from CWM. Services provided to our top tier clients on a monthly basis include:

This graph shows the percentage increase in new visitors to the websites of our top SEM clients in 2017 compared to 2016. As you will see from the graphs, there has been a significant increase across the board in both traffic and visitors for all clients.

The graphs show the following results:

Website traffic increase:

  • AV company 62%
  • Motocross company 26%

Visitors increase:

  • Property agent 135%
  • Waste company 85%

Spanish Legal Homes case study -

Notably our Spanish property client has seen around 125% increase in both overall traffic and new traffic! Our efforts to increase visits to the website have included onpage optimisation, directory submissions, article creation, online advertising, social media posting and achieving content on third party media such as A Place in the Sun. The net result is the client now receives hundreds of genuine enquiries each month!

Similar activities to those completed for our Spanish property client have also been adopted for CWMs other top tier clients. The uplift in fortunes for these companies has created a nice problem to have, which is now fuelled them to roll out complete inbound marketing strategies that benefit from automation and sales nurturing. Keeping on the upward track  

Automation: Many of our clients are now moving towards using automation to streamline their marketing processes. This will include using software such as Mailchimp or Hubspot to send personalised emails once certain actions have been done by the customer. We find this works particularly well for e-commerce websites as the journey of the user can be tracked to allow the client to send them emails and retargeting messages.

Social media:

Last year we also placed more of a focus on social media as it's a powerful tool that can be used to increase traffic, brand loyalty and engagement with existing and new audiences.

Below we’ve had a closer look at the successes for some of our clients; the below graph shows the percentage achieved in likes to their page and again you will see a significant increase compared to the previous year.
